 Dr. Green’s empirical research and policy development is accelerating the implementation of genomic and precision medicine. His work has established the safety and feasibility of disclosing various forms of genetic risk information, assessed the impact of whole genome sequencing in primary care, created the concept of aggregate penetrance of genomic variants in a prospective population cohort, and provided early data on the clinical utility and cost-effectiveness of genomic sequencing in healthy adults. Dr. Green established the world’s first academically-affiliated, family-oriented Preventive Genomics Clinic in Boston. In 2017, he co-founded the nationwide tele-genetics company Genome Medical.
