Dr. Rountree began his career at Wellspring, Partners in Health, one of the first holistic health care centers in the U.S. Since January 2002, he has been the Medical Director of Boulder Wellcare, a private practice specializing in integrative, personalized medicine. In addition to his medical practice, he is a member of the core faculty for the Institute for Functional Medicine and the Chief Medical Advisor for Thorne HealthTech, a world leader in the production of pure, high-quality nutritional and botanical supplements. Dr. Rountree is the long-time clinical editor of the journal, Alternative and Complementary Therapies (recently renamed Integrative and Complementary Therapies), published by Mary Ann Liebert.
