Dr. Miller is a Professor of Pathology and Director of the Paul F. Glenn Center for Biology of Aging Research at the University of Michigan. Dr. Miller is a past editor-in-chief of Aging Cell and has served as advisor for the American Federation for Aging Research and the National Institute on Aging. He is a Senior Scholar of the Ellison Medical Foundation and a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. His research program includes ongoing studies of the mechanisms that link stress, nutrients, and hormones to delayed aging in mice, the development of new approaches to slow aging and disease through drugs, early life dietary restriction, and targeted mutations.
