Dr. Vitale is Vice Chair for Quality and Strategy of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and the Chief of Pediatric Orthopedics for the NewYork-Presbyterian Enterprise. As an internationally recognized expert in pediatric spine surgery, Dr. Vitale has been on the forefront of clinical innovation in this field. Performing more than 200 spinal operations per year, Dr. Vitale leverages specialized teams to drive quality, safety, and value. Dr. Vitale has also been at the forefront of academic leadership and national governance in the field, serving as President of POSNA and leading other organizations such as IPOS, S3P, and PSF.
