Dr. Callahan currently serves as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Player Care at Madison Square Garden Sports, where she oversees the care of the Knicks (NBA), Rangers (NHL), Westchester Knicks (NBA D-League) and the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL). She served two terms as President of the NBA Team Physicians Association, and has been a team physician for USA Basketball National Teams since 2014, working with both the men's and women's gold-medal winning teams in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Since 1994, she has been on staff at HSS, where she co-founded the Women’s Sports Medicine Center, the first of its kind in the country.
