Dr. Newman is the Immediate Past Chair of the American Migraine Foundation, a Past President of the American Headache Society (AHS), and currently serves on the Board of Directors of AHS and the Headache Cooperative of New England. Dr. Newman was a resident and chief resident in Neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his Headache Fellowship and was an attending physician at the Montefiore Headache Unit until 1997. He founded the Headache Institute at Roosevelt, which he directed from 1998-2016.
