 Dr. Granieri has been nationally recognized for her contribution to geriatric medical education and has been the recipient of numerous caring, teaching and mentoring awards, including the Arnold Gold Award for Humanism in Medicine and the Dennis Jahnigen Award from the American Geriatrics Society. Her roles prior to serving as the Director of Geriatrics at Atria Health include Chief of Geriatrics at the Bronx VA Hospital, Deputy Chair for Education at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and Chief of the Division of Geriatric Medicine at Columbia University.
