Since 1999, Dr. Bell has been medical director of the Young Men's Clinic at Columbia University Medical Center. In that capacity, he delivers primary care to adolescent and young adult males and advocates for the right of young men to have access to high quality and respectful services that address the issues relevant to adolescent and young men, which includes attention to their sexual and reproductive health. He is the a past President of the Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM). He is co-founder and chair of the board for The Partnership for Male Youth, an organization whose mission is partner with youth and organizations to improve the health of adolescent and young adult males.
